GENERAL COMPARATIVE MEASUREMENT OF THE Fw Ta 183 HUCKEBEIN PROPULSION UNIT
The propulsio units were measured standing alone, without the model
The "thrust" value was taken from the "thrust curve" according to the rpm measured
The "thrust curve" was measured on the complete model, i.e. including the induction ducting and exhaust nozzle
All "thrust" values are in grams and are static, model fully stationary
The values for the Speed 300 motor were measured on a brand new unit; with the gradual wear the values will deteriorate slightly
All values listed here were measured on non-calibrated equipment and on randomly chosen power units, so they are of general comparative value only
Weight of the Ta 183 Huckebein model, less motor and battery cells : 250 [g]
